What are your strengths?
Well, I like to learn every day and that’s my strength. I do like to experiment with new things and that’s the funda of my success.
What are your weaknesses?
Nowadays I am getting busy with daily life, mostly study pressure so I am unable to update myself with the latest tech news. So this is an area where I need to focus on.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is obviously Blogging and along with that I also like to do App Development.
Soumyakanti Ray, Can you tell us a little about your success and yourself?
Hi, I am Soumyakanti Ray from West Bengal, now studying in B.A 3rd Year. I started my journey in February 2013, back then I was very newbie. I was experimenting with Blogs and at the last able to make my Tech blog www.techgleam.com which is a very successful blog. Back then I was running an Android Blog. It was a very successful blog, then. I used to get 30-40k visitors per day. But due to lack of SEO, Google penalized that blog and after learning a lot about SEO and Blogging I launched Techgleam.
Along with Blogging I was also doing Android Development got huge success in that and actually it changed my life. I usually make Customization Android Apps. Now I have a group to work on Android Development. I do work around 10-12 hrs a day now.
How you first got involved with blogging?
I was running a mobile wap site for Java Games, one day I was searching something on Google and suddenly read about Blogging. I was trying to make money from the Internet. I thought that it will be a good idea to try it.
So that’s it. I started blogging in Blogger platform.
What’s your strategy with your blog in general?
For me quality of an article comes first. I like to provide quality articles for my readers and that’s matters only. I like to meet new persons through my blog 
What are your favorite blogs and why?
Being a Tech Blogger I daily read Gsmarena, Techcrunch, Mashable, Gizmodo. I get all Tech news from here. I also follow Bloggertipstricks.com to enrich my Blogging knowledge.
Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
I follow Amit Agarwal, Ankit Kumar Singla, Harsh Agarwal. Amit Agarwal is my inspiration
What would you prioritize? Content? SEO? Traffic? Readers?
Well to be a successful blogger, you have to do everything. First, I will prioritize Content then SEO. After that I will focus on my readers and at last Traffic.
What tools do you use to manage your social media presence?
I do share everything manually. I manage my time to share
Tell me about your App Development and Earning?
Along With Blogging I am also running a small group for Android Development. I do make Android Apps. One of my apps got 2 million+ downloads. My average earning is around $1500-2000 per month. Most of them comes from Development area. I am thinking to make my company very big. Maybe in the future, I will make Games too. I also started Android Development in 2013 with one of my friends. It’s very time-consuming, but still I managed my time for Blogging.
What is a new secret of 2015 SEO and Blogging?
We must provide quality articles which come first in this list. Every successful Blogger has their own strategy in SEO and Blogging. With Quality content, we have to get natural backlinks by that your SERP will improve.
If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest?
Firstly, I will tell him the basic things about blogging. Then I will suggest him to get a good hosting and then a meaningful domain name. With WordPress and a specific niche he can start his career as a Blogger.
Some lines for Indian New Bloggers
Well, so many Indian students are joining to make their pocket money from Blogging. I will tell them if they get an initial success in blogging try to use that golden chance. And at last all I can say we must have a passion of what we are doing. So if are doing blogging to earn money only then it’s not a good choice. You must have the passion for it which will help you to make your journey longer.
How to be an App Developer?
Well, no, trick here. We must learn to code like Java, Html, Android Development. With learning, we must practice it to make it better. That’s all.
In the Future, what will be your main job? Blogging or App Development?
I will manage both. I will focus more on App Development. I do blog for passion.
